JCarTools Installer

Step 1 – Preparation

Installation is done via the site jcartools.ru

Step 2 – Connection

Connect the cable to the car and to your laptop or phone via OTG.

Step 3 – Enabling ADB

Open car settings, go to "System", and follow the steps below to access the engineering menu:

To enable ADB in the engineering menu, press "USB2.0" and then press the "DEVICE" button:

If the DEVICE button is missing in the engineering menu:
1) In the car settings, change the language to English
2) In the engineering menu, look for the ENCRYPTION section

3) In the window that appears, take the last 7 digits of the number shown, enter them into the form:


4) Below to get the password for the encrypted menu
5) Switch the ADB toggle to "Open" and proceed with the installation

If you see a window like this with version 2:

Then you need to use the calculation form:





If you see a window like this with version 3:

Go to the main engineering menu and find the section called "Temperatura":

Press the Confirm button to enable encryption version 2. Then go back to the ENCRYPTION menu and follow the instructions above again.

Great! ADB is activated and you can start the installation. You may proceed to the installation step.

Step 4 – Installation

Go to jcartools.ru/in.html and click "Connect"

Select your device in the pop-up window and click "Connect".

Then click "Install".

Wait for the installation to complete!

Step 5 – Internet Setup

After installation, the JCarTools app will launch. Before registering, connect to the Internet (e.g. via your phone's hotspot):

Important! Before setup, disable wireless Android Auto on your phone, as it will interfere with Wi-Fi operation on the head unit. Phone settings → Apps → Android Auto → Disable. Check the date and time in the vehicle

A tablet reboot may also be required.
